Who we are

HeartStrong.com is a free heart health education website run by Dr Steven Lome. In this policy, "we" and "us" means HeartStrong.com.

What we collect

You can use the whole site without creating an account or giving us your name or email address. We collect only:

• Basic usage data: pages visited, rough location (country or city), device and browser type, collected through our website platform's analytics. This is used in aggregate to see which lessons are useful.

• Anything you choose to send us: if you contact us, we receive your name, email address and message.

We do not collect payment details, and we do not sell or rent your information to anyone.

Cookies

The site uses a small number of cookies that are needed for it to work and to measure visits. Lesson videos are embedded from YouTube, and YouTube may set its own cookies when you play a video. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Who we share it with

Information is processed by the services that run the site, such as our website host (Squarespace) and YouTube for embedded videos. We may also share information if the law requires it.

Lessons link to other websites and resources. We are not responsible for how those sites handle your information, so please check their own policies.

Your choices
