4.04 Focusing on the Long-term

Focusing on things like how you look or waist size may be helpful to get you motivated in the short term, but that rarely lasts. You need to really think about why leading a healthy lifestyle long-term is what you want. Not just for looks, more energy and less medical problems, but for longevity and living a much better quality of life.

You can certainly use the short-term benefits as a motivational push, but always think about the big picture.
