Music can pass the time quickly as you exercise. Apps like Spotify even help you by having you enter your pace of your work-out, then they create a playlist of songs with the proper beat to keep you on the right tempo.

Some people watch a lot of TV and do not want to give it up to exercise. Why not do both? Get a stationary bike and pedal as you watch. Get some audio books and listen as you walk on a treadmill.
