Don't Work Too Hard

Many people don’t like the way exercise makes them feel. This is usually because they started their exercise program way too intense. Take it easy and slow to begin with.

There is almost never a time that a person should start out jogging or running. You should walk first for at least a month or two before thinking about running. The general rule is that if you can’t talk in full sentences during your exercise, then you are working too hard. Monitor your heart rate as well to see if you are doing too much.

The last thing you want is to start too intense, feel overworked, demotivated and quit. Even worse, you may get injured.
