3.20 Physical Activity Recommendations
In this HeartStrong.com video/article, we are doing to discuss the recommendations from the American Heart Association and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) in regards to exercise and heart disease risk.
The goal of an exercise program is not just to “get in shape” or lose weight. Sure you will feel better and look better if you exercise regularly. The goal of the exercise program through HeartStrong.com which is designed to follow at minimum the recommendations from the American Heart Association, is to reduce the risk of heart disease, heart attack and simply lower your risk of death.
These simple guidelines set forth by the American Heart Association and the Center for Disease Control are based on clinical research which has shown that following these rules will lower the risk of heart disease significantly.
